Curly Mango Key of B 432 Htz
This is a Curly Mango Native American Style Flute in the Key of High B.
It is tuned to 432 htz.
This little flute is really fun to play and a has a beautiful clear voice. It is a 6 hole flute and is great for beginners and those with smaller hands. It is also great for experienced players who would like a higher pitched flute. The birds love to sing along with these higher pitched flutes:)
I choose to focus on using locally sourced woods from around the Hawaiian Islands. Mango is another large beautiful tree that grows all over the islands. It also produces so many delicious different kinds of mangos! The wood even smells sweet:) Mango is a hard wood and is very durable.
I create my flutes from my off grid home, surrounded by jungle, on the island of Maui. I burn and carve the sound area as well as burn the playing holes and mouth hole by hand. The burning of the wood gives the flute a long lasting aroma of each wood I use.
I use only all natural organic products in creating my flutes. I apply multiple coats of tung oil and shellac. I then finish it with custom made wax made out of Beeswax, Carnauba wax, tung oil and essential oils. I have found this to be the longest lasting protection for my flutes.
