Triple Harmony Drone Flutes

Triple Harmony Drone Flutes are a unique design concept that allows the player a multitude of playable combinations by choosing which holes to plug and which to make playable.

This design was originally developed by Dr. Justin Rollefson who has teamed up with elemental flutes to provide anyone who purchases this flute with free 30 min lesson.

The different key options that I offer, from highest to lowest are:

A4, A4 and D5
G4, G4 and D5
F#4, F#4 and C#5
F4, F4 and C5
E4, E4 and B4 as pictured above.

Choosing a Wood

After selecting a keys and frequency, it is now time to choose your wood. The flute can be made in one single kind of wood or a combination of two or more woods. I source the Hawaiian woods from a friend on Maui - he is a furniture maker and reserves the offcuts (extras) of his projects for my use.
I also use local woods around NC, where I currently live.

Hawaiian Woods available include:
Koa and Mango.

Local Woods include:
Maple, Walnut, Camphor and Aromatic Cedar.
