Custom Order Double Flutes
Custom Made Native American Style Drone Flute
I craft each flute from my beautiful home in Western North Carolina, using nature as my inspiration through the design process. I really enjoy connecting with each person - getting to know them and working with them to bring their vision to life.
The first step is to choose the key and frequency.
I make these flutes in the keys of
Mid Range
A, G, F#, F, E, E Aeolian,
Bass
D, C#, C and B
These flutes will be tuned to the frequency of
432 or 440 Htz. depending on your preference.
Also an option to add both sets of totems to be able to switch from 432 to 440 Htz
The next step is to choose your wood.
The woods I currently work with are:
Koa
Mango
Black Walnut
Maple
Camphor
Poplar
Sweet Bay Magnolia
Monkey Pod
If it is not allowing you to select a certain wood then I don't currently have that wood as an option for this flute.
After these are selected, extra features can be added including:
Laser Engravings
Crushed Stone Inlay into Engravings
Wood Inlay
Below, I've listed different design options and stone possibilities for each of these extra features but feel free to include something different in the 'personal design ideas' box.
These flutes are made to order and will take about 12 - 14 weeks to complete.
I use all natural shellac on my flutes with a final coat of an all natural wood wax on the exterior. On the interior I use Polyurethane to protect against moisture damage.
There are no returns or exchanges on custom orders. Feel free to reach out if you feel your flute needs adjustments.
